What we collect
Depending on the form, Blackridge may collect your name, email address, optional phone/WhatsApp number, business name, service requirements, activity/volume indicators, employees, accounting system, record condition, consultation preferences, preferred contact method and information you include in free-text answers. Limited technical and anti-spam information may also be generated by the website/hosting service.
Purpose, voluntary information and consequences
We collect the information to respond to your enquiry, understand and scope the work, assess service fit, arrange a consultation, prepare a quotation or proposed engagement and maintain appropriate prospective-client and compliance records. Fields marked required are necessary for that form purpose; other fields are voluntary. If required information is not provided, Blackridge may be unable to respond, assess the work or quote accurately.
Recipients and international processing
Website submissions are processed through Netlify Forms. Netlify stores form submissions in its service database. Authorised Blackridge personnel may access them, and authorised follow-up communications may be handled through Google Workspace. Netlify and Google may process information outside South Africa. Blackridge relies on appropriate provider data-processing terms, contractual safeguards and other lawful transfer mechanisms intended to address POPIA section 72. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, regulators or public authorities where necessary or required by law.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiry, quotation and consultation records are normally retained for no longer than 12 months from the last meaningful interaction unless a lawful reason requires longer retention. Blackridge reviews Netlify submissions at least quarterly and deletes expired unsuccessful-enquiry submissions, subject to any documented hold. If you become a client, relevant information may become part of the client record and be retained under the applicable client and legal retention rules.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access or correction, object to certain processing, request deletion where permitted, withdraw consent where consent is the basis, stop direct marketing or raise a privacy complaint. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Do not send sensitive records here
Do not submit passwords, one-time PINs, banking credentials, identity documents, tax reference numbers or detailed financial records through a public website form. Blackridge will provide a suitable secure process if documents are required.
